Adamswell has a number of facilities available to all visitors - details of these can be found below. Additional facilities can also be found in the HQ Building (please note you must hire the building to use these facilities).
TOILET BLOCKs
We have two Toilet Blocks on the site, located at the top of Oak field, which enables us to provide separate facilities for Ladies and Gents both over and under 18's. Both blocks have mains lighting and hot water.
SHOWER Block
Our Shower Block is located by the HQ Building and is available for use by all campers staying at Adamswell.
Washing-up Area
There is a sink with both a hot & cold water supply outside the toilet block available for groups to wash-up. There is only one sink, so we do advise groups to bring their own facilities if possible, to avoid having to wait for use of this facility.
FRIDGES & FREEZERS
Access to fridges and freezers for the re-freezing of icepacks etc. is available . Please speak to the warden on arrival if you wish to take advantage of this facility.
CAMPFIRE CIRCLE
There is a Campfire area located at the top of Oak Field for use by all site users. This can be booked for Group weekday evening meetings, however, we don't book this out to groups camping over a weekend. In the spirit of Scouting, we encourage you to join together with other users on-site or work out times for it's use between yourselves.
CHAPEL
There is a chapel located on the site which is available for use by all users.
FIRE AREA
There is a fenced-off fire area at the top of Oak field where groups are welcome to have ground fires.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available for leaders only in our HQ Building as well as on some of our camping areas.
ELECTRIC HOOKUP
We are able to provide an Electric Hookup for groups camping on sites Hawthorn 3 or Oak 4 at an additional cost of £10 per night.
